Fire brigade Equipment Store Neuried
New construction of a fire brigade equipment store with flats

Client: Neuried community council, Neuried near Munich

The position on the eastern periphery of Neuried town of the fire brigade equipment store and flats engendered the idea to let the open spaces of the building complex flow into the agricultural characteristics of the landscape freely and without any visible boundaries. To underline this concept, the driveways and parking spaces were finished with grass paving. The building’s main entrance is accessed from the south east via a generously proportioned square providing a multi purpose space. The exercise yard on the western side, with its function orientated design, is subdivided by a strip of lawn with parking spaces lined by hazelnut trees.
