This nursery school founded in the 60’s for 4 nursery school and 3 day care groups respectively has been refurbished and extended. The garden, with its numerous beautiful and valuable trees, had as its overriding design theme the development of a play landscape with amorphous and geometrical design elements. Ondulating shapes, such as hollows, mounds, and domes, in a variety of materials, offer children a free space in which to test their physical limits, to live out their imagination and to hone their spacial sense. The filigree-like play elements allow for views onto and a sensitive integration of the wider landscape.
