A form free landscape park with ondulating terrain provides the link between the river Altmuehl with its structurally rich riverbank protected for plant and animal life (a Fauna Flora Habitat) and the outdoor facilities of the Treuchtlingen thermal spa.
The park comprises of not only containment areas for the drainage of flood waters from the Altmuehl river but also additional planted areas appropriate for the location.
A raised ondulating landscaped terrace with pared back seating modules opens a visually clear view over the Altmuehl riever as well as to the spa. A linear alignment of red beech hedges separates the rest areas.
